Loam Distillery is a micro-distillery located in the historic town of Rutherglen, Victoria, an area renowned for the land that defines this iconic region.

The name of the distillery ‘Loam’, pays homage to the fertile ground that has shaped Rutherglen’s rich history.  Soil that gave rise to one of Australia’s most celebrated wine regions, sparked the gold rush of the 1860’s and the ensuing establishment of the township, which still continues to support generations of farmers, winemakers and craft producers.

Our distillery produces small-batch gin, which is carefully crafted and distilled in our beautiful copper still ‘Flora’, then bottled and labelled onsite.
